In 2022, Fontes Verdes reached a significant milestone by achieving 250 MWp of installed solar energy capacity in Brazil. Green H₂ Complexes
In 2023, Fontes Verdes launched the ambitious project “Green Complexes” for large-scale production of green hydrogen and ammonia in Brazil. The goal is to use solar energy and cutting-edge technologies to offer a clean, sustainable alternative of zero-carbon products to the market, aligned with the needs of businesses moving towards global decarbonization through the energy transition.
2024
Expansion into the North American Market
This year, Fontes Verdes expanded its operations to the western United States. The project to build its first green hydrogen plant began in Texas. This step, marking the company's internationalization, is the start of a program aimed at establishing 40 green hydrogen production plants in that country.
2025
Operation of the First Green Hydrogen Plant
By the end of 2025, Fontes Verdes will complete the construction of its first green hydrogen and ammonia plant, marking its pioneering status and leadership in this sector in Brazil. The new plant will be fully decentralized, decarbonized, and digitalized, designed to become a benchmark for sustainability and efficiency.

800 MW of Solar Energy Powering 100 Green H₂ Plants
With a long-term vision, Fontes Verdes plans to establish 100 green hydrogen and ammonia plants throughout Brazil by 2030. The goal is to supply up to 200,000 tons of green ammonia to the domestic market. This advancement will reaffirm the company’s leadership in clean energy sources and position Brazil as a global reference in the energy transition.
